Description

Silver Surfer is a fabulous Quicksilver 605 and is like new throughout with numerous additional features added for the SMART edition. We bought this new in November 2018 and she only has 16 hours use since then. Powerful and economical 115HP Mercury outboard. This is a very versatile boat for activities on the water including skiing, wakeboarding, towing inflatables, fishing or just cruising, relaxing, exploring and sunbathing. She has the latest hull design which planes very quickly and easily for rapid acceleration. She is CE Category C rated for coastal, inshore and inland waters and takes up to 7 people in comfort. There are 4 seats in the bowrider area, 2 bucket seats side by side at the helm and 3 seats at the stern. The versatile layout can turn into a dining area in the bow section (table included) or it folds out into a large sundeck area for 3 or 4 people (2 sun lounger combinations either quick set up or add the side extensions for a larger cushioned sundeck area). At the helm the comfortable bucket seats are right alongside each other for the pilot and co-pilot. If you're teaching your kids or helping friends who haven't piloted a fast boat before, this is the perfect set up. The bucket seats also swivel to face aft for socialising when at anchor with the people in the 3 seats at the back. There are several lockers for all the kit you might take with you such as wake boards, skis, towable inflatables (a towable inflatable, tow rope and ski pole are included), fishing rods and gear, life jackets etc.
We have added a stainless steel anchor at the bow and 30m weighted anchor rode.
At the helm there are 2 multi functional instruments for all the boats functions but we have added a large 9 inch screen Simrad GPS and chart plotter so that you have acurate real time information in a very clear display which you need at the helm when travelling at speed. We've also added a built in DSC VHF radio for safety with external aerial and a Fusion stereo that links to your music via bluetooth, and also has the usual radio channels, together with waterproof speakers.
There is a swim platform on the stern with an easy access door into the boat and a fold out stainless steel swim ladder. There is also a fresh water cockpit shower by the swim platform to wash off the salt water when you come out of the sea.
She has a bimini cover that folds out for sun protection and folds into a sleeve for neat storage when not in use, supported by a folding stainless steel frame. We have also had a bespoke console cover made for when she's in the marina, made from top quality waterproof and UV resistant material, which covers the central locker, helm console and helm seats and is a perfect fit so water doesn't pond in it. We also have what I would call a "yard cover" a large full boat cover that fastens right around the boat and covers the topsides completely for yard storage over winter or when she's on a trailer.
She has a self draining cockpit and an electric bilge pump.

We have added a 3.5HP Mercury 4 stroke as an auxilliary engine on a stainless moveable stern bracket and this is included in the sale.This and the main engine were new in November 2018 and both were serviced in June 2020 by the Mercury dealer in Conwy and have only done about 5 hours since.
The main engine is the CT Command Thrust commercial model, whcih has a greater number of stainless steel internal parts for greater longevity.

This boat is very safe for children as it has a high freeboard and circulation aisles on both sides of the centre cockpit so people can move around easily and safely whilst staying in the boat.
